Havilah

In the last two weeks of May 2008 The Drones headed to Havilah, an old mining settlement on the outskirts of Myrtleford, Victoria. Helping the band to produce and engineer this time was Burke Reid, who also worked with The Mess Hall recording their second award winning album Devils Elbow. Equipped with new guitars, a box full of microphones from Rodes and a few bottles of whiskey they settled down to record their fourth album. Surrounded by state forest and with the nearest neighbour over one and half kilometres away this was the perfect setting for the band.
